StangWriteUps was created to help Mustang owners install their own aftermarket parts. Period.

When deciding on purchasing a part, have you ever searched online for a quality installation article to see if you can get the job done yourself? Or, have you ever received a part with no installation instructions at all?  Who wants to pay a shop to install those new gauges or short shifter if you can save some money and do it yourself? Most parts are fairly simple to install if you have well written instructions with detailed pictures to guide you. 

What we set out to do:

Our goal is to build the most comprehensive online database of installation articles for aftermarket parts for the 1994-2009 Mustang. Most write-ups are generated directly in house while the rest come from manufacturers and user submitted articles. We strive to accompany each write-up with in depth photos and clearly written instructions. A list of tools needed to perform the install will be shown at the top of each write-up so you'll know what you need to tackle the job.

The site began life in February of 2009. We try to add 4-5 new articles a week so check back often for more comprehensive write-ups on the greatest car ever built!
