StangMods offers a Running Pony emblem cover that has really been a hit among 2005-2011 Mustang owners. The simple installation process and great looks makes this product a must have install if your looking to dress up the front end of your Mustang. Follow along as we go over the installation process.
Tools Required:
- Alcohol prep pad (included)
- Soft terry cloth
You first want to make sure you are working in good weather conditions. It is best to install the emblem cover in non-windy conditions with temperatures in the 45-90 degree Farenheit temperature range. This will ensure proper adherence.
Use the supplied alcohol prep pad to thoroughly clean the stock running pony emblem. Once the surface is clean and dry you are ready to install the cover.
You'll notice red tape on the backing of your pony emblem cover. Gently remove the paper backing of each piece to expose the adhesive side as shown below.
Now, you'll want to align the cover over the stock running pony. Be careful not to touch the adhesive to any foreign object or material.
Once the new emblem is positioned over the stock emblem, firmly press your fingers all around to ensure the adhesive makes a firm connection. Thats all there is to the installation.
